Mike Day, Senior Principal

Mike has more than 30 years of experience in construction contract management including the management of major construction projects for universities, healthcare organizations and public and private entities. Mike is known for his expertise in alternative contracting methods to ensure that his clients receive the best legal foundation and structure possible for their projects. Mike often manages complex, multi-phased capital projects that have parallel schedules and timelines. He brings extensive experience and skill in budgeting, estimating, value engineering, scheduling, and quality assurance. Clients praise Mike’s leadership, his numerous connections within the industry and the perspective he brings to projects to ensure results.

Mike is a devoted runner and loves to be outdoors. He likes to fish, kayak, bike, hike and camp. He’s also a Portland Timbers fan. Mike is a USSF Soccer referee who stays very busy during soccer season.

Mike Day possesses an excellent sense of humor and is a pleasure to work with on a daily basis. He also has admirable character qualities including a strong sense of honesty and trustworthiness.
